Advise

My partner and I have been together for nearly a year, he is usually great and recently we have tried for a baby but lately he has been horrible. Getting frustrated really earlier and towards me!( no violence just won't talk and snaps) I wonder sometimes if he stills loves me. He really hurt me today by promising something than not doing it cause he wasn't in the mood? Than getting angry at me saying he doesn't want to talk cause he knows he messed up. He does this a lot but I'm not sure how to handle it? Any advise?
