Bad parenting

I'm a first time mom with a 2 week old baby girl. She seems to have trouble sleeping and can only sleep when I'm holding her. She's gets frustrated when I put her down. I hate seeing her so upset and know she only wants to feel loved. I've spent all these nights with no sleep trying to soothe her and comfort her. But haven't been able to. I feel like I'm just doing everything wrong. I'm such a bad mom. I don't know what to do.
