Animal Lovers - please spread #stopyulin2016

I've seen a lot of fur mommas on here, so I wanted to share some info I just learned about today. The Yulin dog meat festival takes place in China every June. They kill thousands of dogs and cats at this. And it's not humane in the least. They torture the animals by beating them alive so the meat will be tender, they skin and boil them alive, cut off paws so they can't run away. Don't feed and they dehydrate them and transport them stuffed all together in tiny cages. The other dogs in the cages witness the torture and dogs are intelligent. Think of those poor pups fear. It's so sadistic it's hard to believe it's true. I urge you to google: stop yulin, and read about it. I warn you, it is extremely hard to read about and the pictures are absolutely heartbreaking. I can't get the images out if my head. I'm just so mad about it. Support rescue agencies and sin petitions to get the Chinese government to stop this madness and enforce animal cruelty laws. I mean they actually steal people's pets and will torture threm in front of the owners to get the owners to pay to get them back. It makes me want to throw up. I know we have a lot of cruel animal slaughter practices in western culture, but we don't celebrate it at a festival and it is not necessarily legal. Please look this up and spread the word.
