A bad husband-- frustrated

A good friend of mine and I were talking in class on Tuesday ( I'm in college ) and I was bragging about how amazing my husband is. She looks at me and says, "He isn't that good if he can't get you pregnant" I was so upset. It's bothered me since. We've been trying for almost a year now. Meanwhile, she's unmarried, with a toddler running around.
