Don't rely on the heartbeat. When I was pregnant we couldn't ever get a good sono pic to determine sex. The doctor told me that I was having a girl by the heartbeat. We were fully prepared for a girl & I gave birth to a sweet baby boy.

Heart rate doesn't correlate with sex you will just have to wait to find out the gender either through a blood test, ultrasound, or at birth.
