Ranch dressing?

So my bff just told me you're not supposed to eat ranch dressing when pregnant- I had no idea! I didn't realize it contains egg yolk. So many things to know!!! I am afraid to eat anything besides fruits veggies and chicken these days, jeesh!!!

The ranch and mayo that comes in a jar is just fine because it contains egg yolk but is pasteurized. (There is very little items sold in America that are unpasteurized nowadays because of the fda). You are totally fine eating ranch unless it is homemade at some super fancy organic restaurant or in your own kitchen. 💗

Thanks ladies! I actually just did some reading on this topic online and found all of what you just said- the eggs used in bottled dressing is pasteurized, it's when it's home made in a restaurant that is an issue. So glad I can still have my carrots and ranch yum yum!!!

Just Ranch at Walmart doesn't contain egg. It's safe to eat and taste like normal ranch dressing :)

You can have it if it's pasteurized. Most are.

And if you ask others raw veggies can be dangerous too! I never heard the ranch thing but I wouldn't worry about it
