Copper IUD... Opinions...
I've had the copper IUD 2 other times before loved it no problems other than the very heavy periods. This time around insertion of the IUD was so painful I was bent over when leaving the doctors office. I've only had this one in for about 8 months or so. I've been having severe cramps like my uterus is being stabbed and painful tubes on one side only. As well as severe lower back pain when I sleep so much that it's painful to move. Not to mention the very heavy flow. I also noticed periods are later about a week or so late. I was regular before. And I can only feel one string. Can all these issues be caused by the IUD? Maybe it was not inserted correctly? I have an appointment soon and thinking of getting it removed. Any opinions or has any of these symptoms happened to anyone?
