What's your thoughts on raspberry leaf tea/tablets.. Does it work or is it a waste of time? I'm 38 weeks today

38 weeks is pretty late to start drinking the tea because it takes weeks to build up in your system, but there's no harm in drinking it now. I started drinking it at 28 weeks and my labor went really well! I didn't feel any contractions around my belly (had bad back labor though), my stomach shrunk back down to normal size after a week, and I only lightly bled for two weeks. This tea is amazing and I'll be drinking it every time I'm pregnant :)

I drink it throughout the second and third trimester. I do a combo of red raspberry leaf, nettle, alfalfa and peppermint. I really feel like it made my contractions more effective and it didn't shorten my labor (mine are already short enough at 2.5 hrs) I think it helped to make it more peaceful since the contractions were more effective if that makes sense. Not gonna hurt anyways and I like the taste of it iced.

I'm planning on trying it. I went through a ton of blogs and forums reading what women have said about it and while I'm not assuming it will be the miracle some claim, I think there's enough people saying it helped for it to be worth a try. If it'll help with contractions and making labour more efficient it's worth a go. I'm going to start on it this week.
