Cord blood donation
So my husband and I are have always tried our hardest to donate blood when we could, and we are also both on the bone marrow registry. I work in health care and see the amazing patients who get these products and how they can save their lives.
With that said at our first appointment cord blood banking was brought up. We both agreed we had no need for cord blood banking with our family medical histories and such. But how amazing would it be to donate our babies cord blood!!
So mamas have you heard of people doing this, or have you done it yourself. If so how did it go? Did you feel it was worth it?( I hear the paperwork can make you pull your hair out) also, if you did donate who did you go through?
Also if you have donated cord blood would you do it again?
