I think to be safe, you should wait a month. I know when I started the pill I needed to wait until I had my first cycle for it to be "safe" then I had the nexplanon which was inserted into my arm and I was told within a few days I'd be fine, but I had just had a baby and wasn't willing to risk anything that soon, lol
