2 weeks notice? ☕️👹

I work at a coffeeshop. An adorable coffeeshop. Seriously, I've never seen one like it. It's the best place to read, to study, to hang out with friends, the atomosphere is perfect. That's what got me hooked, that's why I wanted to work at this particular coffeeshop.
Little did I know the management at this cute, innocent coffeeshop is, in fact, more batshit crazy and full of drama than Controversy Corner can ever hope to be.

I have to get out of there.

So, my poll question is this: Do I, a humble (haha) waitress at this INSANE coffeeshop need to put in my "2 weeks" notice before I quit; or can I drop the mike and walk out of there and never look back without notice?
I've worked there for a total of 3 months, and I don't know if I can handle another 3 minutes in that place.

I mean, you can drop the mic🎤🎤, but you cannot drop a person. That is highly frowned upon.

Put in your two week notice, solely because future employers will care. Unless by batshit crazy you mean you feel your personal safety is at risk. In that case don't return, and take someone with you to pick up your final paycheck.

I hate it when people just do the bolt. People at my work do it, just don't come back or hand in their notice and call in sick for two weeks. It's so horribly inconsiderate. It affects eveyone else that works there. I mean do whatever you feel you have to but it's a bit of shitty thing to do in my opinion.

I've always wondered, if you hand in your 2 weeks notice, will the employer treat you differently? If it's already bad working there, won't it be worse if they know you're quitting?

I did the good 'ol mic drop at my last job. I hated my boss he was a prick. I was called into his office and after about 5 minutes I literally told him to fuck off and that I quit. I walked off like a boss. Lmao.😂 But looking back I should have probably been more respectful to the company that kept me employed for 3 years. I wasn't worried about future jobs calling and getting a bad report. My best co worker friend worked in HR. So in closing give a two weeks notice if you can, if you can't try to be as professional(and not tell management to fuck off)as possible.
