confused, Help!

Hey girls, so this isn't anything serious but I was just wondering if anyone has experienced the same. So I've started my period today and barely anything is on my pad, but when I wipe it feels like I need half a roll of toilet paper to get all of the blood! Is it just clogging up or what? Because there is a hell of a lot on there but it just won't go on the pad? help please!
