my boyfriend and I have been together over a year now and we've been living together a year in June. and we're happy! but I can't shake this off.
Lately he's been talking to this girl he was talking to before we started talking. He doesn't know i know because he deletes the messages but it still says on his phone Shannon on the recent contacts. 
The other day he was talking to her but friendly like hey how are you ect. but SHE texted him first. (he didn't delete them before I could see) 
I feel like I'm losing him but he's still doing everything for me my birthday was Tuesday and we went out, he got me flowers new sunglasses, and tried blowing up tons of balloons to have everywhere but didn't work. and tonight he's setting up going out with his/my friends for a party for my birthday.
 I just don't understand why he would talk to her when he can talk to me( he rarely will text back during work but text her) she knows he has a girlfriend because he told her. 
OH and she will text him randomly and be like haha I just drove by your house..like uhh wtf.
Am I just being jealous and let him have a friend that's a girl? I barely talk to my guy friends.

He is deleting msgs because he had something to hide. If it was friendly he wouldn't care if you read them or not.

Hope that's not jealousy that's suspicion . Have you tried asking him about it ? Or letting him know that you know ? But too me tbh he is trying to keep you happy just so you don't be on his case about but I really think you need to say something to him about that before it gets to out of hand & why does she ride past y'all house ? That is really awkward .

Sometimes guys spoil their girls more when they are cheating because they feel guilty. Bring it up. Tell him you know, you can't work on anything if you don't admit you know. Tell him it makes you very uncomfortable and you don't want him talking to her. It's not unreasonable especially since he was talking to her before you two got together
