Being in love

So my boyfriend is someone that i am always happy to see and who can always cheer me up. I love everything about him and i love how he treats me and love all his perfect imperfections. I love his family and they love me but how do i know if i am in love. I have never been in love before so i dont know if what i am feeling is being in love or if i am just thinking i am!?? How do you know for sure that you are IN love with someone and not just that you love them??
