Bottle Help?

Question

So I'm a Ftm and I wanna know which brand of bottle is the best. I've bin seeing Lot of Dr.Brown bottles which they say are excellent. What about the Avent bottles?

I love the Avent bottles. My kids always took them no problem. I know there are babies whom won't take certain nipples, so i would be careful how many you buy at first.

Don't stock up on all of one kind- get a few to try in case baby doesn't take to a certain one. Not all babies respond well to the same bottles, so while one may work for other people's babies, it might not work for yours. 
Both of my kids used Playtex Ventaire bottles, and I loved them. My son, who I breastfed along with bottle fed, never had nipple confusion.  I have friends who swear by Avent, Dr. Browns, and Tommee Tippee.

I'd say look at babies r us if there's one near you cuz most will have a visual of all the different bottle types. With breastfeeding, I was stuck between avent, and both playtex types (ventaire and nurser) but I ended up eliminating the avent when I saw the antigas/colic boast about playtex. I switched from ventair to the nurser because it's easier to pump store and feed from the liners rather than have to keep purchasing storage bag/containers and pouring. Especially with daycare. So much milk was wasted because somebody dropped a bag or it froze wrong and ripped a hole or leaked. Having the liners made it so much easier. If I had to start from scratch, I'd consider the kiinde system also. What I like is that a lot of bottles nowadays do offer multiple nipple types so you may not have to scrap the whole thing. I just chose a nipple that closely resembled  my breasts and looked for bottles that try to mimic nursing. But again every baby is different and your needs may differ also

I bought Dr Brown because I heard they were the best, and my baby won't use them. He ended up liking Munchkin Latch. I'd say buy 1 of a few different kinds and try them out!

My son loves the dr brown bottles. He had a hard time with latch on just about every other one.

I used dr Browns but my baby would sometimes get frustrated when going from bottle to breast. I love love love dr Browns but I got him munchkin latch bottles. He did so much better and I love it! He latches perfectly because of the wider nipple.the nipple is also accordion shaped so baby can turn their head a bit and pull at it just like a breast. I personally love them!

I would buy different ones... My kids hated the expensive bottles. Such as Dr. Brown and the other bottle They like the cheap $2 bottles better

I use the Dr. Brown bottles which are the ones that I stocked up on before she was born but I do agree with the other young lady who said buy a few different brands that you like and see how your baby responds to them and use those I'm lucky my daughter took the Dr Brown bottles but if she hadn't that would have been so much money down the drain. I have heard really good things about Avent as well and if not the bottles I'm using that would have been my next choice
