Every other night. In the first couple of weeks it's just sponge baths and you can't fully soak them in water because of the umbilical cord. No reason to give a bath every night and dry their skin out even more then it probably already will be. Unless they do a blow out poop lol

For a newborn, I bathe them as needed which is generally every 2nd or 3rd day unless they're spitting up or have a diaper leak. My other 3 (ages 11, 6, & 4) gets a bath/shower every other night unless they've been playing outside, in which case they get a bath that night.

Baby skin is so sensitive and bathing too often might dry out their skin :( that said, we live in Texas and it gets hot. So maybe every other day. With my son it was much cooler weather so we went every 3 days for baths. As he got older and more mobile (and made bigger messes) we transitioned into baths every night and now at 6 he takes showers every night after dinner before bed.

I gave a bath to my daughter everyday since she was born and still do now and she is 4 
It helps her to go to sleep so everyday before dinner
