Frustrated. Should I be?

Okay, so his back is hurting. I understand that.. he tells a friend we have been staying with that his back is hurting. What's his friend do? Hands him a fucking pain pill that he shouldn't even be taking. I don't like seeing people falling asleep on pills or high on pills. Thing is, he knows this. One of the main reasons I didn't want to start hanging out with his friend is because all this friend does is drink all day and get high on pills, and he promised he wouldn't do that. Ugh. So frustrating!
