What would you do?
I am watching the show "What would you do?" They have actors doing things they shouldn't or being outlandish in public to see how people will react. In this one, they have an actor stealing a bike, trying to cut the chain with a saw in the middle of the park.
White man: Not a single person stopped to prevent him. Several people stopped and stared, many asked. Some even said, "Good luck". To all of the people he asked, he admited he was stealing it. No one confronted him.
Black man: EVERYONE stopped and surrounded him. It became pretty much an angry mob. They were all blocking him and 3 in the crowd called police. The black male and white man were dressed and acted JUST the same. The park police came and everyone was livid and distressed.
White women: 3 males actually stopped to HELP HER steal the bike. Knowing she was stealing it. They all made comments at her, almost flirting. Their excuse when told they were on the TV show was, "I was just helping her out." However....all of the females that passed either said nothing, or completely confronted her and called the police.
