What do you think of this, saw this on Targets FB page lol...This picture isn't saying transgender people will do this, it's saying men pretending to be woman will....I don't have a problem with transgender people etc....I completely understand how they just want to be accepted and I accept them but I do fear for their safety with this new change.

Target has had a gender neutral bathroom literally forever. They have a family restroom which is essentially the same thing.

I think this fear of men is petty and ridiculous considering a sign on the wall isn't going to influence a true predator. Those who fear this shouldn't let their children out side because literally anyone can be a predator. The cis women, the lesbian, the teachers, ect. No where is completely safe.

What do I think? I think you need to get over yourselves and think of what this is like for an actual transgender person for a second.

That is fear mongering fuel by transphobia and hatred. It's a huge scare tactic.

I hope no one believes that target feels that way. Obviously this is in retaliation for the statement on transgender bathroom issues.

I'm a conservative Republican and even I don't have a problem with transgender men and women using the correct bathroom. Honestly, I will be a little weirded out at first but as long as I can use the bathroom without being bothered, I really don't care.
This picture is floating around Facebook and I agree with him.

Men now are not allowed into the womens bathroom so women are all safe...

Transgendered people will only allow 'men' into womens.bathroom so.women are not safe...

Does ANYONE realize that men HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ENTER THE WOMENS BATHROOM THIS ENTIRE TIME?!?!

Predators are predators regardless of their gender.. If a man now thinks hes now "allowed" into the womens bathroom.because trans are now.allowed is an idiot hes just a predator anyway... I dont see how people dont know that

I think that all the scaremongering about transgender people in bathrooms distracts from the reality of child abuse and sexual assault which is that the vast majority of perpetrators are known to their victims - it's usually a member of the family or a close family friend. I think it's easier for people to mentally cope with the idea of 'stranger danger' than reality.

I think people who think their wives and children are suddenly massive targets really need to get a grip. I would say 90% of the time a true transgender person you wouldn't even be able to tell unless you are being a creep and watching what they do in the stall. 
I swear a sign on a bathroom door has NOT prevented a rapist or creep from going in there before if they wanted to attack someone. It's not going to stop them because they aren't "allowed" somewhere. They aren't "allowed" to rape or violate someone else's body but that doesn't seem to be stopping them. This doesn't give them permission to do so now either.

Transgender people don't see themselves as the gender they were born with and typically try to look the other gender.  Not sure why this bothers people in regards to bathrooms.
