Sofiya arrived 4/20/16

Was supposed to be induced Tuesday evening at 8 and went into labor on my own <3 Unfortunately I had an infection, so was treated immediately. I was dilated to a 4 when I received my epidural which they had issues getting it right so that made things hurt worse at first. About 12:30-1:00 Dr came in checked me and broke my water, before that I was told my daughter was in distress heart rate was high and they broke my water and sure enough my daughter poo'd. Super thick so then I was told she may need cpap for a day in the nursery (familiar with due to my son's complications) or be intibated because she probably wouldn't come out breathing. Needless to say I freaked out at that point, so I ended up going and not progessing so nurse came in and flipped me and my epidural began wearing off. I had to be topped off and not five minutes after my daughter's head was coming out. By time Dr and nurses got in the room my daughter had (literally) slid out onto the bed. She arrived at 2:29A.M. breathing but did struggle, we did skin to skin and things got so much better she latched really well for me and ate. Unfortunately later on her body temperature dropped several times so she went into nursery yesterday evening to be treated in case of infection. So far she has ate really well, she is responding well. She weighs 6lbs. 6oz she is very tiny <3 scares me lol. Hopefully Saturday morning we will be coming home. So in love with her. <3
