Dogs and baby

This is our first but we also have 4 dogs- the smallest being 40lbs and largest 100lbs. I trust my dogs but I want to make the transition as smooth as possible, does anyone have any suggestions?  I know I'm suppose to send my boyfriend home with the babies blanket and I've also heard a dirty diaper before I come home. We've also had baby stuff out and around the house for a few weeks now (especially toys that were given to us that make noise) and they aren't bothered by it.
