Am i over reacting ?

Ok so my bf is NEVER home when im making him food . When he works i make him food & he gets home at like 8 at night & his food gets cold . But when i dont make food hes home super early . In the mornings i make him breakfast but he has stuff to do like wash car or go do something & it gets cold . He always has to microwave it . He just told me to make him eggs .. But of course he had to go do something idk why ask . It gets me upset how i always make him food & he just not caring enough . Feel like he's ungrateful . & he gets mad when i tell him something about it . Idk it just pissed me off . Am I overreacting ? Or ?

Cook food when you're ready to eat. If he's there great, if he's not save him some for later. In the beginning I used to get upset if we didn't eat together but now I understand that we have different schedules and that's okay. As long as he eats it, shouldn't be a huge problem.

If he doesn't mind heating up every meal then who cares. He's the one that has to eat cold food not you so until he complains about it being cold, I wouldn't care

I wouldn't worry, my husband is a bit like this too. He will say he's hungry so I will cook (I'm a housewife this is my job so no bs please) then when I say it's ready I will realize he's started building something or halfway through some hour long task, he realizes it's his fault and never takes it out on me in fact he doesn't complain at all. He will either eat it cold or reheat it. I think it's just what they are like (my husband and your BF I mean) they are easily distracted especially if they're waiting for something they will find something to do. Sometimes I get my husband to help me cook that way I know he's not likely to go off and do other things, or I keep a running time for him and warn him 10 and 5 minutes before it's ready. There are things about me my husband does to help me in similar ways like if he wakes me up and says shall I make you a drink he never starts it until he hears me get up as sometimes I fall back asleep. This is what comes with living with another human :)
