Possible Lost Tampon?!?! TSS?

so the other night after a busy day I put a tampon in and then went camping with my family. after awhile I remembered that I had put a tampon in and decided to go change it. problem was there was no string! This has never happened to me befor so I feared the worst. I looked up some information online and found out sometimes they get coiled or break. I stuck a finger up there and tried to feel for it but felt nothing..... I stopped bleeding until tonight when I went to the bathroom and started bleeding again. I'm afraid that if it's still in there I'll get TSS. This has never happened to me before do please help!

Stick a finger up there and touch your cervix. If you can touch it, nothing's there. If you feel something and can't get it out, go to the ER. If you start feeling any symptoms of TSS, go to the ER as well. Hope all is well!

one time my string broke off mid-change and my tampon was stuck. i had to pretty much finger myself to get it out. try and feel around, it might be within finger reach. or have your SO try and find it, he might surprise you ;)

sit in the bathtub and it will come out. this happened to me once and the water will push it out. honey your risk of TSS is so high right now. please watch out for potential symptoms and let me know how you're doing. if you get a sunburn type rash or if you start getting flu like symptoms, got to the ER.
