Dealing with anxiety
Besides the obvious of the physical aspects of pregnancy (sickness, heartburn, being concerned, anxiety over what labor will be like, prepping to try to be a good mom, etc) I'm now dealing with super external anxiety. The sad thing is that it's resulting from family issues! Basically there's a few family members (my side) and one of my sister in law- none of them have checked in to see how my pregnancy has been and a few have said they can't attend the baby shower. It is what it is but I'm so sad and having anxiety issues about it. Feeling like your own family doesn't care is awful. I can't change who they are I can only learn to accept that they aren't supportive or caring but it's difficult. If my parents were still alive I know that their actions wouldn't affect miss much but since the family is so small it makes it worse. Plus there are more things that have happened - just too much to type. How do you cope with family derived anxiety?
