Hair?

So I'm half Native American and for anyone that didn't know this, we actually have really active oil glands in our hair. More active than any other ethnic group actually. That's why our hair is so shiny. Here's my problem, my hair gets TOO oily! Even with washing it at night, I wake up with it oily and sometimes even sweaty. It's so gross and frustrating. Is there anything I can do in the morning to cut back on the oiliness?

Try using a clarifying shampoo once or twice a week and dry shampoo in between wash days.

If I can find a dry shampoo that doesn't leave my hair with residue in it or feeling stiff and crunchy I would try that

Dry shampoo saves my butt. I am also Native American and if I don't wash my hair everyday, then I will have pimples all over my scalp from the oil. Dry shampoo and I use the organix sea kemp shampoo

Also blotting tissues. I use them around my scalp

My hair is crazy greasy, and when it's ridiculously greasy and either I don't have time to shower or just don't want to, I use dry shampoo. (Well I use homemade dry shampoo so I can't recommend any brands) but it soaks up all the grease and leaves my hair feeling normal for the day.

Hmmm. Maybe try homemade? I believe mine is just basically baking soda and corn starch. But my boyfriend added cinnamon so it doesn't leave white patches in my dark hair.

I've tried dry shampoos but they always leave my hair feeling stiff or with white residue
