Someone told me yesterday that if you can fit your whole hand above belly that you're close to labor. Hispanic/old wives tale?? Is there any proof or truth to this? I'm 36+6 weeks and was 2 cm dilated at my appt. Friday. Just curious 😊

I HAVE heard this from other people in the past. And I think it's a way that some can prove if the baby has dropped or not. I was told about 2 weeks after baby drops is when labor is bound to happen. With my first I think it was almost 3 weeks after I dropped but time moves so slow at the end..... I know I dropped last week and I'm due May 4th. So hoping it's true for me this time!
