Stupid comments, please read

I was at an OB appointment today with my 3 month old who has been incredibly fussy, and nothing to help me (my husband was at work, mom was busy, I don't have a stroller that fits in my car because it doesn't fold down, my car seat is an all in one. Yes, I'm obviously poor. I'd called earlier and a nurse agreed to hold the baby for me while being examined). I'm sitting there with my baby girl who is starting to fuss and I'm thinking that I should entertain her in the quietest way possible... So I whip out my kids YouTube app and play her a song that I'm always singing to her and it did the trick!! There was a couple across from me. The guy goes "how old is she?" And I said 3 months or 13 weeks... He said "wow look babe she's already spoiled with the smartphone" and then the video froze and my daughter flips out. I tried to calm her down, got the video to play. His pregnant wife or gf or whatever says "look she's got it down to a q, if she cries she gets the video". They were clearly Judging me, they used very sarcastic voices. it made me sad because all I was trying to do avoid my daughter screaming her head off in a waiting room full of tired pregnant women. I don't usually play her videos, I have the app so that I can find more songs to sing to her. I didn't even know what to say everyone was looking at me sideways waiting for a response and I turned red... My daughter clearly sensed that I was uncomfortable and started to scream... I was able to calm her down but everyone was staring. It was awful. Please cut us new parents some slack before judging us VOCALLY. You don't know our situations and it's not fair to embarrass us in a room full of people. I'm not sure why I let it bother me so much but I figured I'd post my experience on here to help avoid this nonsense happening to another struggling parent. Please be mindful before you speak. Everyone is a perfect parent until they are actually parents...
