Cysts?

Any of you ladies have ovarian cysts? My doctor says they're "normal"... I had a large one on my right ovary. Which unknowingly ruptured during my last period (found out through ultrasound)... I knew something was wrong because the pain was extremely horrible! =( last week I found out I have developed 2 more on the left ovary... now today I just started my new period, and the same pain... I guess another one is rupturing. IDK. I'm just so upset because the pain is so unbearable all I do is take vicoden!!! I refuse to go to a hospital because they just send you meds and back home... same thing I can do myself. Can you ladies give me any advice? I just can't understand why I keep developing cysts... my doctor doesn't explain anything besides "don't worry" they're normal. Help!
