Do you wax?!?

Sorry but I have to vent about my first experience with waxing. I get my eyebrows waxed all the time . I decided to buy a home wax kit.. Well... That didn't end up so good. First I started with my bikini line and omg did that hurt. It worked the first 2 strips and after that I couldn't get it to work. So I really got nothing done. And I was left STICKY. My bikini line was full with wax. I had wax all over my hands. I spilt wax on my bed spread. The container is full of wax and I couldn't clean it up so I doubt I'm able to open it the next time. It'll be glued up. I can't get the wax off my blanket, my vagina is still sticky. I dropped my phone case in wax and it's still sticky. My hands are still sticky. I used the stuff it came with to get wax off but it does not work! I used soap and water! I just had a terrible experience & this stuff is EVERYWHERE! I need advice. How can I make it less painful and messy next time?!?
