Side effects of tying your tubes?

Thinking of having my tubes tied after this little blessing....has anyone had this done and have you experienced any side effects?

The only side effect I had was regret... I had them reversed after 10 years. And it was out of pocket and NOT cheap!  If you're sure go for it. It took me about 2 days before I went back to work after they performed the surgery. The scar is in my belly button about a forth of an inch long.  Now the reversal on the other hand was a 6 inch sea section scar with 2 weeks off and pain killers..  and about 6000.00

I didn't have one but when I was thinking of doing it the ppl I asked about it said that their periods became heavier and more painful

Look up post tubal ligation syndrome. It's a real thing and it happens to alot of women. I also regretted it immediately and waited 9 years to get it reversed. Getting it reversed was costly, painful, and it's not guaranteed that I'll end up pregnant. Really, really think about what you're doing before you commit to it.
