Is it weird that as an 18 year old girl I'm terrified of using tampons? Anytime I try I end up sitting in the bathroom for hours crying cause I'm scared! My friends have told me to grow up and use them but I'm nervous. Should I just get over it and be a "big girl" since I'm going off to College?

No it's not weird, don't listen to those girls! 
It could be your body type. Your body is resistant to things it can't take, if your body is not suitable for a tampon it won't take one. It's not like it switches it on and off for moods. It may come as you grow older but for now, stick with what makes you comfortable!

tampons are honestly not that bad. I was really scared to use them at first too. it's doesn't really hurt that much. maybe it does the first time. but just make sure you push it in all the way or it'll be very uncomfortable. tampons are great😊
