Are they going to pay me BELOW wage ???

I been working st Walmart for a week and haven't got a check yet, Friday is pay day. I remember today I put in $7.25( I reviewed my online app) I MEANT to put $7.25 but Walmart starts at $9, are they really going to pay me $7.25 an hour????!!! That's minimum wage.

You should have gone over that with the manager during the hiring process. I worked at Murphys(its the kiosk/gas station outside of walmarts but they aren't affiliated with Walmart ) and even though I put $8 on my application my manager informed me that they start everyone at $9 and gave me that.

Walmart starts all their base employees at the same pay rate, increasing by .30c/hour for every year of relevant experience you have prior to starting work. In most states, they start at whatever minimum wage is for that state. If their minimum base wage is $9.00/hour, that's what they will start you at. When you did your job offer, they should have shown you what your hourly wage was going to be and you are supposed to initial it (usually on the computer with a manager walking you through it). If you are really concerned, pop into the human resources office and ask what you are starting at. They will have all of your paperwork on file.
