Bottle froth?

How does everyone avoid their bottles filling up with froth after shaking it?

Are there any tricks to get rid of it?

Usually when I make it, I don't have time (or spare hands) to stir it

Try swirling it. It helps with bubbles and has no froth.

Dr. Brown has a formula mixing pitcher that we use. We make enough for the day and then when you pour it into the bottles there are no bubbles/froth.

Dr browns bottles will keep froth from going to baby. Once baby drinks all milk the bottle has all the froth left in it. It has special features to keep it out

Certain formulas will do that no matter what you try.. Swirl instead of shaking or you can by the Dr. Brown's formula pitcher which you can premake a large amount of formula in at once. That pitcher was recommended to me by moms who went throught the froth issue

I make several large bottles during the day and then pour the needed amount into a smaller bottle when my baby is ready to eat. This way I never deal with the froth and I have enough formula pre-mixed for several smaller bottles. If your LO doesn't like cold formula though this doesn't really help.

After shaking the bottle wait till the bubbles disappear.  Then you don't have to worry about gas.

The gas drops you give them for tummy aches can also be used after the bottle is made. Just put one or two drops in after making the bottle and you will watch the bubbles disperse. Then don't shake again give directly.
