Anyone going into this a single mommy?

This will be my first baby, her father and I broke up when I was 28 weeks pregnant and I am now 34, he says he wants to be in her life and all that but it's helping with anything during the pregnancy l, not being supportive, not asking about doc appointments or anything. I'm feeling emotional today. We broke up only 6 weeks ago he has already been dating and all that, I also know he will get mad once she is born because I'm not going to let him just take her for the weekend until she is older....anyone going through this? Advice? Someone to just talk to.....

I'm going through this at the moment. My son's father is very immature, a lesson I learned late. I've been keeping my own household since I'm 18yo, hes always lived at home. We're both 30yo now. Our relationship was great until we got pregnant and started talking about him moving in with me. That's when his 60yo mother went bat-shit crazy and started acting like a jealous girlfriend. Long story short, he chooses to keep her quiet, and hasn't moved out of her house. He missed every single appt, all of the milestones and I've done and prepared everything myself this whole pregnancy, including painting/prepping the baby's room and buying everything. He professes his love for me and this little boy every day, yet he's not around, at all. The kicker, he lives only 1/3 mile away from me. I have no time for his childish antics. I'm preparing for my son to come into this world! I plan to give the baby my name, and to not put him on the birth certificate. That way he can't just take him any ole time he wants. I will allow him to be involved, and will encourage it as I always do. I want my son to know his father, but his safety and stability is my #1 priority. If things ever work out between us, we can discuss the name and add him to the birth certificate at that time. I wish things were different, but they're not. I've come to terms with this, and this little boy is my #1 priority.

I was a single mom with my first. We broke up when I was about 7 months along. He never ended up coming around, which was for the best in our situation. 
It was pretty lonely at first. I ended up hiring a doula for my birth so I would have neutral support( She did my birth for free as a part of her licensing process so don't be afraid of the price if you decide to do this). I surrounded myself with friends and family but it was very lonely sometimes, especially the first few weeks after she was born. I recommend just focusing on your baby, he will either do the right thing or he won't, but you can be an awesome mom with or without him. Focus on baby and school/work and whatever else you have going on. It took a while to get used to doing things alone and years later I have a career, amazing husband and baby number 2 on the way. It's hard but it will all be ok. You're gonna do great

I'm also gonna be a single mom as well as a FTM. Me and my babies father aren't together and don't plan to be. We were close friends while I lived in Txand my some not so responsible decisions (as far as sex) which resulted in ms Marley here. He wanted me to get an abortion and I was going to at first feeling like I had no choice, but a lot of prayer and life reflecting brought me to realize I did have a choice and I could give my baby a great life even as a single mother 😊.. I have a great support system (family and friends) and I know she will be loved.. He says he is gonna be there but I haven't heard from him most of my pregnancy (33weeks) I'm excited though and a firm believer that my life went down this path for a reason. I was raised by my mom solely and had a great up bringing! And I hope to fall in love one day and she have a father figure around. Happy early Mother's Day ladies! From one single mother to another!

My baby's father and I are in a really awkward situation right now. We want to be together but there's things that are keeping us apart right now, which is hard to explain..he was there in the beginning but I have been going through this by myself for 2 months now. I'm 33 weeks now and honestly a little scared of going through the end of this alone. I just keep thinking of my daughter and just focusing on being the best mommy for her 😊

Yes mamm we have been separated 5 months already and don't see any change so almost positive I'm raising baby alone !

The best advice I can give you is just focus on you and that precious baby! 
That's what I've had to do 
Yes I have very emotional days today is one of them but I cannot let it take me down
