Basil--safe?

Question

I'm going to do a google search too, but does anyone know if basil (fresh, leaf form) is safe for pregnancy? I can't seem to remember and I'm fixing an Italian dinner tonight that calls for it.

I just googled it and it said its safe and is actually a power food during pregnancy

Sounds good. Most everything I found said it was ok, but I didn't know that part. Lol

It's safe as long as you don't go crazy eating it everyday or take basil supplements. It's got a ton of good nutrients for baby :)
