Would you rent an apartment where the owner has a room locked for their personal stuff?

The owner won't respond if i ask her if she decides to come and stay whenever she wants because i have kids and i wouldn't be comfortable with that.The owner is disabled and she can only communicate via text or email.Just looking for some opinion or suggestions.
