Doctors appointment turned into inducing....

So had my 40 week appointment today, I'm 40+1. When they did the ultrasound they noticed my amniotic fluid was low and my doctor told me that she wants me induced today. I was in shock when she said that. So me, my boyfriend and mom have been in the hospital for about 5 hours. Just waiting on my doctor to come break my water and hopefully start to dilate more and meet my little man today!

Update: So as of early this morning, May 6th. I am now at 4 cm! Have been in the hospital for 15 hours now. The doctor doesn't want to break my water yet....just waiting for this to be over and to hold my little guy.
