Do you think he likes me?

He texts me everyday and than he started only texted me one every other day , I'm not sure if I should sent him a message is that to clingly to text everyday? I really like him and want things to work out. Do you think he's busy or is he trying to show he's not interested? Over text he isn't that great but hanging out he is awesome. We don't hang out tho so what's your Advice on dating or getting someone to like you?
