Too many ultrasounds ?

So I was considered high risk when I first found out I was pregnant due to a blood disorder. I had my blood examined and I'm ok , so far I've had 4 ultrasounds. 2 because of an emergency and the other 2 at regular docs. Appointments. Tomorrow I wanted to go to get a peek at the gender to tell my mom what I'm having on Mother's Day . Is that too many ultrasounds ? Can it hurt my baby in the long run?

No its not unsafe for you or baby. I'm high risk and have had 5 ultrasounds. I'm only 12 weeks. Good luck to you and baby 💕

Ive had 17 since this pregnancy is HR... I think youll be fine... The only "evidence" of them being dangerous was using them on mice for 5 hours a day every day...

No i dont think it is too many. With this pregnancy,  ive had one CT and high contrast CT, an MRI and 5 Ultrasounds. I am now 9w6d going off my ultrasound,  or 10w1d if i go of my lmp. I have a follow up ultrasound most likely next week. And most likely more later on.

There's no scientific proof that it harms you nor the baby as of yet but if you think about it, those are high frequency waves being transmitted. Ultimately, it's your choice but keep in mind the medical field is just as much as a business as anything else. They wouldn't shy you away from getting an ultrasound

You are fine. I have had one every 10 days or so since Jan and I am at 23 weeks.. Next Saturday I have a different ultrasound not baby related

If it were to many they wouldn't schedule them for you.
