Can NOT washing your face help your skin?

I haven't washed my face in a couple days and my skins been looking way better. I usually wash it every day because I have such bad acne and my face is so oily. Can my period have something to do with it?

I have found that overwashing your face strips it of it's natural oils. This then causes your body to work extra hard to produce more oils for your skin.

I wash my face at night only. I use a gentle cleanser made from chamomile essential oil, lavender essential oil, calamine powder, rose absolute, elderflower, and jojoba oil. 
In the morning I spray my face with a honeysuckle and neroli hydrosol and let it absorb into my skin. 
I also use argan oil as a moisturizer in the am and pm.

Yes it depends what you're using to wash your face. You may be using something that's drying you out which then causes more oil and more acne. Try a face wash that has benzoyl peroxide under 2.5-3%. Any more than that is really drying out your skin which you shouldn't be doing.

Hormonal/PMS acne doesn't seem to respond to any regular treatment.

I don't wash my face, just a splash of water to clean my sleepy eyes, occasionally I will use face wipes but I can't use soap on my face I end up drying up or getting spotty and yes you're period can affect acne
