2nd baby close in age with first

Anyone else know they want a second baby and you want your second and first close in age? I have always known I want two kids. My son is almost 5 months old now and by no means rushing into trying for a second right now but maybe end of year or early next I'd like to start trying. My husband was always on board for a second or so appeared to be. Now he keeps saying no, I'm fine with just one. I know having a baby is super tough and is not a job for the weak but it's worth it for me. I love being a mom. I know it's prob just "too soon" for him. Hoping he comes around tho. Anyone else in this boat?
