Scheduling a C-section or being induced?

Question

So my baby is measuring two weeks ahead (I was told this at my Dr. Appt at 32 weeks and two days on Friday) And I don't really want to carry him full term I'm scared he's going to be a big baby. I have an appointment on the 23rd of this Month (obviously I'll talk about it more with him) If he keeps measuring ahead will he induce me or schedule a c-section? I'm a first time mom. I don't want any negative feedback. Thanks!

I have measured 4-6 weeks ahead with all three of my children.  All have been about 8 lbs at birth, and this, one according to the sonogram, is on track to be at 8 lbs as well. He's curently measuring 4 lbs at 32 weeks with the expectations he will gain about 1/2 a lb a week between now and birth which is really normal.
After being induced and having a c section, I would encourage you to wait it out for both you and your baby's health and safety. 
It's also important to keep in mind fundal height measurement isn't an exact science, there are so many factors that could cause you to measure big that have nothing to do with baby's size. 
Your body will accommodate the baby's size to full term, don't worry Mama!

Unless you have something like gestational diabetes you will probably be fine to carry your baby full term. I have read ultrasounds can be off up to 2 lbs and sometimes babies that are induced too early can end up in NICU because they are underweight or underdeveloped. Just try to relax and trust your body. Focus on staying somewhat active and eating healthy. Your doctor will let you know if there is a medical necessity.

Was this info from an ultrasound?  Those can be inaccurate.  If you read Ina May's Guide to Natural Childbirth she talks about large babies.  I would wait and try to avoid being induced or having a c section. Very few women are truly unable to birth the baby they have growing inside them!

Most doctors will not schedule a section or induction unless there is a medical necessity for it. My baby is measuring 3 weeks ahead and is 7 lbs already and they will not do it for me.

Mine is measuring 39 weeks and I'm only 35, thats an entire month ahead of where I am.  he is about 6.5lbs already. So you're just fine. I wouldn't worry unless its like 8lbs at 35 weeks

If this would have happen to me I would go get induce because I also wouldn't want to push out a big baby .
