Husband lost his ring :(

So my hubby just called to let me know that he had taken his ring off to work on some piping (rather than get glue all over it)... He put it on the truck then forgot about it and drove off. Not going to lie... I'm feeling a bit bummed but it is just a ring and I know he feels awful. Any ideas on how I can help him feel better about it? I already told him not to worry, maybe it'll be found and turned in somewhere. If not we will get him a new one. It's just a ring. I just know he's going to beat himself up over it and I really don't want him feeling bad. Guess I'm just trying to brainstorm. Thanks for listening :P
