My son is 11 days old. Whenever me, my mom, my sister and my SO change him we always fold the diapers so it doesn't touch the cord. My aunt changed him earlier today and left his diaper and it pulled on the cord and now it looks painful and is starting to come off but it still looks very red and raw underneath. I'm trying to be ginger with it. Is there anything I can put on it to make it less painful? Or should I just leave it alone?
