Left out chicken??

Husband put frozen chicken in a container to marinate yesterday and forgot to put it in the fridge, it was out for about 12 hours before being put in the fridge, good to cook or toss??
(No funky smell)

It's chicken i'd personally not take the chance whether it smells ok or not it can still gain bacteria. Not worth risking food poisoning. But i'm super cautious with food as ive got a weak tummy with chrohns disease.

I would still cook it, I always take mine out before bed so it's defrosted by morning. Depends how hot it is where you are

I'd still cook it unless your house was like 90 degrees. If anything did start to grow cooking it to proper temp will kill it.

I leave mine out to marinate and get to room temp so when I bread it, it sticks. You won't die, but if you don't plan on making it right now, don't put it back in the fridge cause it'll be gross since it went cold to warm to cold.

I thaw my chicken on the counter, too -I NEVER use it if it's been out for more than about 4 hours.  It is actually recommended to bring it to room temp just before cooking- it brings out more flavor (at least that is what I've heard and believe. )

Toss! Don't risk getting sick especially because chicken is cheap to buy and can make u very sick
