Advice?

So I'm on the pill and last period I chose to skip it so I just carried on to the next pill pack and keep taking hormone pills. for 3 weeks now I've been spotting brown and now it's my periods expected due date (according to the pill) and my spotting has eased off and gotten really light. do you think I should just wait it out and keep taking my pill or stop the pill?
