Temperature of birth control pills

Dani
I recently got on birth control pills and noticed the packaging saying to keep them between 20 and 25 degrees (68-77 degs F). I also read online that exposing them to sun and hot temperatures can make them less effective. In 2 weeks, family and I are going on vacation to Orlando, which is naturally very hot and humid (I think 85-90 F that week) I take my pill at 12:30 noon so I would have to carry my pill for the day with me. I bought a little metal pill container to use for travel but I was wondering how safe it will be spending a few hours in my bag with me the whole time...
Has anyone experienced failed birth control due to temperature?
