Ear piercing?

I am thinking of getting my LO's ears done, I would prefer to get it done before she can grab at them? Not 100% sure though! Did any mums get their babies ears done? If so what ages? And where? I'm kinda apprehensive about taking her to a tattoo studio ( and this makes me feel judgy, I'm sure most are clean and sterile, I just wouldn't want to take her to a tattoo studio!)
