Cleaning out my ears

I'm probably putting to much pressure when cleaning the inside of my ears but lately my neck feels like pressure and my throat when I swallow feels closed in. Basically feels like pressure. Is it due to that or am I just a worryer and think it's thyroid cancer. I felt around and no lumps of anything strange. Or just cleaning my ears to rough I don't know. Sorry I'm all scattered with explaining this....thanks for you're help.
