Baby registry?

How do you feel about baby registries? I'm due Oct. 1 and have my baby shower with my side of the family in September and can't decide if I want to do a registry yet. My parents are getting us the stroller and car seat and my husband boss said he'd get us the cosleeper since I don't want a huge crib. Help me lol idk if I should do a registry!

I made one with a bunch of small fun stuff for people to buy....all the ex's pensive stuff was already bought for us by people who offered or we decided to get it ourselves because we weren't comfortable asking anyone to spend that kind of money on us.

Sure! If you want to. My husband and I have two registries. One with BabiesRUs and one with Etsy for purely nerd stuff.

We did one. We have a crib,stroller and 2 car seats (one for infant and one for a older child) as like 5 outfits and some little stuff. But we can use all the help we can get. Plus it helps let people know what you want for your baby shower.

We did a registry, but not for any of the "big" items. We did it for clothes, diapers, wipes, bibs, ect. Basically, for necessities.

It's entirely up to you! I created a registry strictly for myself and my partner. It's nice to have a list of everything that we need (my registry is universal) and slowly buy things off of it. We didn't need a lot and I don't really like people buying things for me so I only give it to someone if they ask us what we need.

In my area it's really catching on and I see it working for my friends. My one friend registered and got everything and beyond. So they do work in some places. 
You can just say on the info about the registry that you are happy with anything that the registry is just there for if people want to use it
